On the left hand side of your screen, you’ll see two columns of icons and headings. While the top column allows to access your individual projects, the bottom column is where you can control and access information for your entire production company.

Once you set up an account and create a project, you can easily manage payroll for your entire production company, using the following sections:

All Projects

By clicking All Projects, you’ll be taken to a screen where you can see all of your projects. Clicking a project name will load that project’s information into Wrapbook so you can sort through its details.

You can also create another project by clicking “Create New Project” in the top right corner. Archived projects appear under your active productions in tinier font. By clicking “Archived Projects,” you can view old projects and past payroll at any time.

All People allows you to view and sort through anyone whose ever worked on one of your projects. Categorized by name, you can easily view the city your worker is from, along with their position on the production, and rate. Clicking on a name will allow you to change its contact card and access its details.

To add someone new to your production, click Add a Person. You’ll be brought a new page where you can add information about your contact. Enter their name, job title, email, phone, website, city, and day rate.

Since all the contacts are stored from all your productions, this can make finding cast and crew for your next project easier.

Whether you’re preparing for tax season or just need to access your production company’s numbers, Reports is the place to go. Storing records for each of your project’s payroll, you can find reports for past payroll, paystubs, past requests, and tax documents.

Clicking on each report will show reports for an entire production company, aggregated by each production.

Past Payroll is a log of all the payroll performed by your production company. For each payroll you ran, you can view its status, creation date, corresponding project, number of people paid, tax amount, and total.

As always, by clicking “View” you can get an in depth look at any payment. Wrapbook will immediately take you to that payroll’s page. Below is an example of payroll run for one employee, complete with a summary and breakdown.

Payments and Paystubs catalogues individual payments made to each worker. At its core, this is an expanded list of what you ran in one payroll. With all of Wrapbook’s interface, you can easily see the status of any payment.

By clicking “View,” you can pull your employee’s paystub, where you can see the breakdown of your employee’s net pay – how much was tallied on for taxes – along with the destination of the payment. Clicking “Download PDF,” will generate this same information, but in a PDF for easier sending.

Unlike Payments and Paystubs, Past Requests catalogues each and every request your workers sent you – whether you filled it or not. Marked as approved, denied, or pending, your Past Requests is merely a list, and can be expanded by clicking “View.”

Easily find any worker’s tax forms under Tax Documents. You can view W4s, W2s, and other tax forms, organized by worker name.

Clicking “View,” will load a PDF of your employee’s tax document, in case you need to reference it. In order to add new employee tax documents, have your employee change their tax information under their employee settings.
