From auto-calculating timecards for IATSE and Teamsters to digitized startwork, at Wrapbook we’re all about creating the best payroll tools for producers. And today, we’re excited to announce pricing changes that will save producers even more money using the Wrapbook platform.
Previously, the cost to use Wrapbook was .75% all of payments paid through the platform, which included all payments to contractors, loan outs, employees -- and even kit fees & expenses.
However, paying out an expense is very different from paying a union employee, and we realized our one-size-fits-all pricing wasn’t providing the maximum value for customers.
So in order to keep our prices the most competitive, we’ll be charging our platform fee based on your payment types effective May 1st, 2021.
Starting May 1st, 2021, our platform fee will be based on your payment type.
Now that loan-outs, contractors, and expenses are paid on flat fees per payroll, you can save more money using Wrapbook than ever before.
Consider this example.
Let’s say you had to pay a loan-out $5,000 through Wrapbook. Under our old pricing, you would be charged .75% of those wages, which would come out to be $37.50.
To pay that loan-out now through Wrapbook, you would only be charged a flat $9.49 to process that same payment.
As the amount you’re paying to contractors and loan-outs rises, so do your savings.
Wrapbook can now automatically calculate union timecards for Commercial IATSE and Teamsters crew in Los Angeles. And it’s just the beginning of automated union payments.
For union employees, we will be charging 1.49% of all union wages. Non-union employees will cost .75% of their wages, as before.
Even if you’re just reimbursing one person through Wrapbook, you can already see savings with our new pricing. However, consider this before and after example.
Let’s say you’re running weekly payroll through Wrapbook and you’re paying:
Previously, we would have charged you .75% of your weekly gross wages of $103,000. That meant a platform fee of $772.50.
When you run that same weekly payroll through Wrapbook under our new pricing system, you will be charged based on each payment type.
For this payroll now, we would charge $9.49 for each loan-out, $0.49 per worker getting an expense, $0.49 per contractor, and .75% of the non-union wages.
The new platform fee for the same payroll will be $424.41, saving you $348.09.
As mentioned, the pricing changes will take effect May 1st, 2021.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to sales. If you’re running large amounts of payroll, be sure to ask about custom pricing for further discounts.
