Job description
These are on-site positions supporting the accounting team on a scripted episodic television series in the NYC area. The 2nd Assistant Accountants work closely with the 1st Assistant Accountant to keep the accounting office running smoothly. We are looking for candidates who are eager, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn go a long way on our team!
Assist the 1st Assistant Accountant with daily accounting functions
- Process invoices, purchase orders, pcards
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
-Follow all studio procedures
- Support crew members with accounting related questions
- Assist with data entry, digital filing, and general accounting office operations
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team
- 1–3 years of experience in production accounting preferred
- Proficiency in SmartAccounting, V5, and CASHét Pay & PCards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor and team-first attitude
- Must be local to NYC area or able to work on-site
$1800-$2100 / per week (DOE)
