Accounting Associate
Job description
The Accounting Associate is responsible for reviewing financial information, reconciling accounts, assisting with the preparation of financial packages, and providing support in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, quarter-end closes and other administrative tasks.
Perform timely reconciliations of bank accounts.
Import payroll and production files and conduct verifications for approval.
Prepare, process and record Staff payroll, including journal entries and salary schedules.
Code and import credit card transactions including receipts and follow up to gather missing receipts.
Prepare and process DGA contributions.
Assist with client audits.
Approve and validate AP and AR transactional activities.
Troubleshoot and help mitigate AP/AR issues as they arise.
Prepare and analyze internal accounting reports to support financial closes including GL review and journal entries.
Assist in special projects promoting process enhancements and moving the company forward.
Any special projects and ad hoc reports as required by management, in order for NEED to provide white glove service to clients.
$26 - $30/ per hour
