Busy growing NYC prod co seeks Temp to Permalance Non-Union Assistant Accountant to lead production p-card workflow across multiple projects.
Full time, 40 hours, 5 day week.
Office is in Midtown East. We work in office Mon-Thurs, and from home on Fridays.
Our ideal candidate has been an assistant accountant already for 2-3 years at a production company handling P Cards across a variety of projects, or have 5-6 multimillion productions under your belt.
Must have used Greenslate for at least one production in the last year. Extensive Cashet experience required, including opening new accounts, creating and maintaining customized PCEDA set ups, implementing virtual cards, PCE and user management and transaction disputes. Brex experienced preferred.
"Soup to nuts" Cashet P Card workflow management: setting up new accounts, customizing approval flows, ordering cards, organizing card user agreements and card images, finalizing reconciled envelopes, committing unreconciled spend in POs, requesting W-9s for rentals and services as inevitably happen from time to time.
In addition to Cashet, you will act as liaison with our corporate accounting team to distribute corporate overhead p-card spend reports to productions for audit and approval on a monthly basis.
Additionally you will be delegated additional tasks like vendor set up and invoice entry depending on the volume of Accounts Payable.
Likewise you will be responsible for adequately delegating your workflow to the Accounts Payable assistant when your volume is high.
In the interview you will be asked about your personal understanding of how to use effective dates in the GL.
