Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to foster a positive, collaborative work environment
Delegate tasks effectively to balance workloads and meet deadlines
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, initiatives, and performance expectations
Financial Close Process:
Oversee the financial close process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
Coordinate with accounting, treasury, and operations teams to gather data and resolve discrepancies
Review financial statements and reports, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions
Develop and implement standardized processes and controls to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Perform in-depth financial analysis to assess client performance and support decision-making
Prepare and present financial reports highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations
Monitor client portfolios to identify potential risks and opportunities
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies
Implement and maintain effective risk management practices to monitor and mitigate financial risks
Stay current on industry developments, regulations, and best practices, updating processes and controls as needed
