We are seeking a savvy Production Coordinator with experience in accounting to join us part time. In addition to what would be asked of a Production Coordinator—managing freelancers, vendors, and production logistics—this role also requires an aptitude for accounting, in order to handle comprehensive financial management across multiple shows, including payroll, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and junior bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Director with a variety of administrative tasks, while also being the point of contact for freelancers and external vendors throughout production cycles
Swiftly manage day to day operations in the production office with efficiency and communication, from sorting mail to delegating tasks to interns and production assistants
Develop and implement organizational systems to help keep track of a high volume of tasks and deadlines
Assist with creative documents including film festival submissions, development decks, grants, and other presentations as needed
Manage payroll and freelancer payments across multiple projects and bank accounts
Process credit card and checking account reconciles, payments, and billing inquiries
Calculate and transfer charges between company accounts as needed
Generate weekly financial exports and upload supporting receipts to designated systems
Reconcile QuickBooks/Wrapbook/Greenslate type software transactions across credit cards and bank accounts
Track expenses across multiple shows and maintain detailed financial records
Manage tax compliance follow-ups and maintain filing deadlines for all requirements
$25 - $30 / per hour
