Seeking experienced and diligent lead accountant to join us at our Midtown Manhattan office (M-Th in office, Friday WFH) managing AP, CASHet, CASHetPay, and cost reporting for live event and documentary projects.
Our company uses GreenSlate webapp for our production books and payroll.
Please apply if you have relevant experience leading the accounting operations for multiple shows at a time, i.e. have worked "in house" for a major studio, or large production company for a minimum of 2 years with same organization.
This position is full-time, non-union, salaried, and is freelance to permanent.

Thorough knowledge of double entry ledgers operations and trial balance movements
Thorough knowledge of audit procedures
Thorough knowledge of GAAP
Basic knowledge of corporate record keeping practices
Basic knowledge of Sarb-Ox
Thorough knowledge of IRS tax withholding and reporting obligations
Must have basic knowledge of which crew needs to be paid on W-2 payroll
Most of the payroll is non-union, but for live tape, you have experience with FLTTA and BA too!
$2,800+ / per week (based on experience)
