First Assistant Accountant 10-Week Unscripted Reality
Job description
Lionsgate Alternative Television is seeking an experienced First Assistant Accountant for a 10-week assignment on an unscripted reality television project. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and can step in with minimal training to support the production accounting team.
The ideal candidate will have strong production accounting experience, a thorough understanding of payroll and accounts payable processes, and hands-on experience with Entertainment Partners software and online banking platforms. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills.
Enter and process weekly production payroll.
Input invoices, expense reports, PO's into accounting system.
Process AP transactions.
Prepare wire transfers and ACH payments for approval and processing.
Maintain accurate accounting files, vendor records and digital backups.
Support the Production Accountant with day-to day accounting tasks.
Communiate with vendors and crew regarding payment and documentation requirements.
$1,800 / per week
