Position Details:
Independent contractor/freelance engagement.
Flexible schedule.
Approximately 5-10 hours per month, with occasional fluctuations based on production activity.
If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and experience in entertainment production accounting, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your monthly/hourly rate and resume along with a brief summary of your relevant production accounting experience.
Qualifications:
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within entertainment, film, television, commercial, or media production.
Strong understanding of production workflows and financial reporting.
Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required.
Familiarity with production payroll and union reporting is a plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for production and corporate entities.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
Review and organize production expenses and supporting documentation.
Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations.
Support production cost tracking.
Coordinate with Operations Manager, vendors, and management as needed.
Ensure accounting records are complete and audit-ready.
