🎬 Job Title: Key Production Accountant – International Feature Film

📢 Reports To: Line Producer / Finance Executive
This role is critical to overseeing all accounting functions from pre-production through post. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of international production finance, union regulations, tax incentives, and studio reporting requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of production accounting, including budgeting, cost reporting, cash flow, and payroll.
- Manage a team of accountants (payroll, 1st assistant, 2nd assistant, clerks) across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with producers, line producers, and studio executives to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
-Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with union agreements and international labor laws.
- Coordinate with international production offices and local accounting teams.
- Manage tax incentive tracking, applications, and audits in multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee bank account setup, funding requests, and currency exchange management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the studio and production stakeholders.
- Supervise wrap accounting and final cost reporting.
3,500/ week + (depending on experience)
