Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and review production cost reports and communicate consolidated findings to production and finance executives on a weekly basis, promptly escalating areas of concern.
Collaborate with line producers and production accountants to establish cost report templates for new projects.
Assist in obtaining all production accounting studio deliverables upon project completion.
Monitor and review all project costs, including labor, accounts payable, p-card purchases, and petty cash.
Prepare journal entries related to production allocations.
Ensure that all purchases are properly controlled, authorized, and that invoices are recorded and paid.
Coordinate with the external payroll company to address any issues during the payroll cycle, review and approve final reports.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of payroll processes and labor laws.
Prepare invoices and manage collections.
