At the core is the Global Content Services team, the group responsible for operating the major League of Legends, Valorant, and Wild Rift competitive international tournaments, defining global policies for the sport, driving global narratives, and providing services to our regional leagues. Production Accountants at Riot are responsible for processing and managing the financial data related to live events (e.g., esports) and other production related projects.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Production Finance, you will join our Global Content Services team to support live events and production related projects with cost management, tracking, and budget reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Line Producers, Production Managers, vendors, and other Riot teams to ensure accurate maintenance of forecasting, tracking, and reporting of production budgets.

Track and categorize invoices and production costs using our production chart of accounts, providing accurate actuals and forecast updates.

Create and distribute cost reports on a timely and regular basis.

Create and distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports and updates on a timely and regular basis. 

Identify and flag potential areas for budgetary risk or opportunity.

Calculate/update cash flow pacing.

Work with Riot’s purchasing team to set up vendors in our purchasing systems, request contracts, and issue invoices.

Work with vendors and our Accounts Payable team to ensure Purchase Orders are paid in a timely manner.

Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of production accounting and/or finance experience.

Strong ability to prioritize, be proactive, and be detail oriented.

Proficient in the Google ecosystem (e.g., drive, docs, sheets).

Experience with media budgeting software (e.g., move magic, media web, and showbiz).

Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.

Desired Qualifications:

8+ years of production accounting and/or finance experience.

Former experience as a line producer.

Experience in processing payroll and labor laws.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business-related field.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters.  Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position.
