The Production Finance Coordinator would be supporting the Reporting & Ops Team at a Major TV Studio. While this is considered an entry level position, it would be perfect for someone who wants to transition from the field to the studio side.
Responsibilities
• Review accuracy of vendor setup requests and input vendors into Production database
• Preparation and upload of journal entries for month/quarter/year-end close including but not limited to: Accruals, re-class, inter-company, and intra-project accounting
• Administration of Production Bank Accounts including but not limited to: New Account Requests, Account Closures, Signer/Approver Management, and Daily Positive Pay Monitoring
• Research and record lockbox and other miscellaneous deposits
• Create templates and wire payments in Company’s internal electronic payment system. Act as department liaison for all Studio processed AP
• Perform monthly reconciliations of Production Location Accounting Software with Studio ERP System
• Assist Billing with data entry as needed
• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required with some accounting coursework preferred

• Effective communicator with the ability to moderate based on audience and demonstrate an ability to partner with a range of cross-functional partners
• Strong critical thinking skills and acute attention to detail

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with SmartAccounting & Oracle is a plus
$30 / per hour
