Job Description

Connecticut based television production company is seeking a full time Senior Accounting Manager.

​

Show Responsibilities: 

• Manage production accounting infrastructure as it relates to bank accounts, payroll, pcard, and accounting systems 
• Maintain financial controls and cash management
• Liaise with any partners’ or networks’ production finance and accounting teams
• Create milestone schedules with networks and invoice for payments 
• Review production A/P and payroll 
• Review and distribute cost reports 
• Manage development funding and spending
• Prepare and maintain billback schedules for corporate accountants 
• Manage and apply for Connecticut tax credits

Corporate Responsibilities:

• Manage production accounting staff 
• Manage and track funding schedules and cashflows 
• Review credit card and bank reconciliations and submit to corporate accountants 
• Prepare inter-company schedules and billings 
• Review 1099’s 
• Work with corporate accountants on A/P, billbacks, budgeting, corporate expenses and yearend

Work location is at the company’s home office in Stamford, Connecticut.
