This role will work closely with the production and operations teams to manage budgets, track costs, and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments across multiple shows. The ideal candidate has experience in content or media production accounting and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-show environment.
Manage and maintain production budgets across the podcast slate, ensuring accurate tracking of actuals vs. estimates
Prepare and distribute regular cost reports for each active show
Process invoices and coordinate payments with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Manage freelancer and vendor payments, including onboarding and processing through applicable payroll or payment platforms
Reconcile production expenditures and flag variances
Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records for all shows
Support the preparation of final cost reports at show close-out
Prepare quarterly financial reports for all shows.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure purchase orders and expense submissions are complete and properly coded
Assist with financial forecasting and budget revisions as show needs evolve
Qualifications
3+ years of production accounting experience in podcast, digital, or related media production
Expert proficiency in Movie Magic Budgeting
Deep Experience with integrated payroll and production accounting systems (ie. Entertainment Partners, Cast & Crew and/or Extreme Reach).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple budgets simultaneously
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed production teams
High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive financial information
