Less Input, More Output: Auto-Coding for Allowances

Welcome to a new month of smarter workflows!

This month’s updates are all about saving time and minimizing manual work—from auto-coding worker allowances during onboarding to giving workers access to earnings reports. For teams using the Production Accounting Suite, tools like report templates and PO duplication help streamline recurring tasks and keep things moving.

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Default coding for allowances

Now you can assign default accounting codes to worker allowances during the hiring process that’ll automatically carry over to timecards.

When hiring a worker, just look for the option to “Assign codes for all allowances.”

Earnings report for workers

Workers can now access and download an earnings report in either CSV or PDF format.

The report will reflect the criteria set by the selected filters. 

To download, workers should navigate to Payments, select worker type, select payment type, and click Download.

Report templates

Transaction lookup

Streamline your workflow and prevent duplicate entries with powerful search capabilities across all transactions.

• Access all transactions in one place—simply click the lookup icon to open the drawer⁠.
• Search and filter transactions quickly to verify vendor history and prevent duplicates⁠.
• Review consistent coding and transaction history for vendors to ensure accuracy.

Duplicate purchase orders

For Production Accounting Suite only

With the Duplicate PO option, you can now copy an existing purchase order with a click—saving time and reducing manual entry. 

Look for the Duplicate button on any PO to get started!

Cost report updates

For Production Accounting Suite only

Track budget progress at a glance with the new Percent Complete column—quickly see how much of each budget line has been used. Enable it via Edit Report Columns to keep your team aligned.

Need more precision? You can now display cents in the Cost Report for detailed EFC tracking. This option is off by default, but can be enabled anytime for a more granular view.
