Wrapbook is back at the American Film Market as Presenting Sponsor of The AFM Sessions.
Every November, the independent film industry heads to Los Angeles for the American Film Market (AFM). For 45 years, it’s been where films get financed, packaged, sold, and distributed.
Producers, financiers, sales agents, and distributors fly in from around the world to take meetings and close deals on projects at every stage, from development to delivery.
AFM is produced by and for the independent film community, and it’s the only sales market of its kind.
Over four days, The AFM Sessions put 150 speakers on two stages for practical conversations about financing, production, distribution, and where the business is going next. Headline sessions happen on the Santa Monica Stage. The Constellation Stage is smaller and hosts fireside chats and deeper dives.
This year, Wrapbook’s VP of Sales & Production Incentives, Ryan Broussard, joins two sessions on the money side of filmmaking.
Platinum and Plus Sessions badge holders are invited to join Ryan Broussard and fellow panelists for a look at how financiers decide what a film is worth right now. The panel covers budgets, cast value, sales estimates, tax incentives, and recoupment, and what producers can do to build a project that pencils out.
Open to all badges except one-day badges. Ryan Broussard moderates a conversation with state film office representatives. They’ll cover what each state offers and how to make an incentive program work for your budget.
Find us at the Wrapbook table outside the Santa Monica Stage throughout The AFM Sessions. Come meet the team, bring your questions about payroll, production accounting, or incentives, and see how Wrapbook brings production finance into one system.
