New York City played host to another groundbreaking edition of AICP Week, and this year's gathering was nothing short of a tour de force for the commercial production industry.
Held June 2–4, AICP Week 2026 delivered a dynamic blend of thought leadership, creative celebration, and community connection—all with Wrapbook proudly standing as both an official AICP partner and a key event sponsor.
The Times Center served as the buzzing hub for AICP Week's Base Camp across Tuesday and Wednesday, where industry pioneers explored the intersection of creativity, technology, and business.
Day One opened with a return keynote from David "Shingy" Shing, a follow-up to his 2025 talk on creativity and technology, this time taking stock of where the industry has landed and where it's headed. From there, the day moved through sessions on practical AI applications, the evolution of virtual production, and how data infrastructure unlocks AI for production companies. The afternoon brought ad legends Susan Credle and Gerry Graf in conversation, followed by "Talk of the Town," the AICP's signature format putting industry leaders in rapid-fire dialogue. The day closed with the AICP Next Awards Premiere & Reception, celebrating outstanding creative work on emerging platforms.
Day Two shifted focus to the legal landscape, opening with the returning fan favorite "Lawyers on the Clock." Five legal minds, three topics each, two minutes per answer. Sessions on immigration law, production-friendly locations, and the thorny question of inspiration versus imitation in the age of generative AI rounded out the morning. That afternoon, the action moved to MoMA for the Inspiration Series featuring John Jay, President of Global Creative at Uniqlo, followed by the World Premiere of the AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial.
On June 2, Wrapbook hosted a Lunch & Learn, Employment Compliance at Scale: What Every Head of Production Needs to Know Before the Next Job, which brought together leaders from SMUGGLER, Anonymous Content, and Tribeca for a candid conversation about the systems and procedures that protect production companies from compliance exposure, from cell phone reimbursements to arbitration agreements and beyond.
Speakers included Ena Nicole Abadjian of Anonymous Content, Christopher Grest of Tribeca, Andrew Colón of SMUGGLER, and Wrapbook CEO Ali Javid, who moderated.
AICP Week closed out Thursday at the Museum of Modern Art. The day began with the World Premiere of the AICP Post Awards, and culminated that evening with a tribute to the year's AICP Award winners, featuring 2026 Show Chairs Gloria Pitagorsky of Heard City, Michelle Ross of Superprime, and Jimmy Smith of Amusement Park Entertainment. The evening closed with the unveiling of Best of Show honorees across the AICP Post Awards, AICP Next Awards, and the AICP Show, followed by the AICP Awards Gala Reception.
As an official AICP partner and proud sponsor of AICP Week 2026, Wrapbook continues to champion innovation in the production space. By streamlining payroll, accounting, and compliance for creative teams, Wrapbook's presence at this year's events reinforced its commitment to empowering the commercial production community with smarter, more efficient workflows.
