A force multiplier for production finance and accounting teams.

Get Started

The 2025 Produced By conference, hosted by the Producers Guild of America (PGA), brought together over 450 producers, executives, and creatives on May 31 at Universal Studios for a one-day event packed with panels, conversations, and behind-the-scenes access.

As the entertainment industry continues to evolve at a breakneck pace, this year’s conference tackled the big questions facing producers today—especially around technology, funding, and creative control.

This year, Wrapbook proudly served as a Premier Sponsor, underscoring its commitment to supporting the professionals who power film, television, and new media productions from the ground up.

AI in focus

A major theme of this year’s Produced By conference was artificial intelligence and its impact on storytelling and production workflows. Panels like The Fine Print of AI: Protecting Yourself & Your Production and Producing with AI Today examined not just the promises of AI, but also its legal and ethical boundaries.

Industry veterans and technologists unpacked everything from intellectual property concerns to practical use cases, signaling that producers must be just as savvy about AI contracts as they are about casting and financing.

Behind the scenes with breakthrough series

Attendees got an inside look at some of today’s most innovative TV projects. Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham explored the creative and social impact of Adolescence, their new series for Netflix.

Meanwhile, Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk returned to the spotlight with reflections on the show’s global success and hints about Season 3. These conversations reinforced the producer’s role as both a creative steward and a cultural architect.

Real talk on financing and industry shifts

Panels like The State of Producing and Financing the Future drilled into the realities of producing in a post-strike, streaming-saturated world. Speakers emphasized flexibility in deal structures, the rise of international co-productions, and the growing importance of understanding not just how content gets made—but how it gets paid for and distributed.

High-caliber speakers, hands-on access

The event featured thought leaders across the producing spectrum, including Abhijay Prakash (Blumhouse), Carolyn Strauss (The Last of Us), Carter Swan (Gran Turismo), and David W. Zucker (Dope Thief).

Attendees also toured Universal Production Services' cutting-edge post-production facilities and connected over drinks at a closing reception—co-hosted by Universal and the PGA—capping off a day that blended education with meaningful industry connection.
