Get Started

Happy August everyone!

This month's updates are all about tightening control where it matters most, including protecting your vendor data from fraud, giving the right people the right level of access, and cutting the manual steps out of everyday work.

Here's what's new.

Accounting & spend: Tighter control over vendor data

Vendor data is where clean reporting and fraud prevention start. This month's updates add guardrails to vendor creation and give you finer control over who can see sensitive details.

Ensure vendors are approved before invoices are paid

To add an extra layer of fraud protection, new vendors created in PAS must be approved before they can receive payment, and banking changes to existing vendors require approver sign-off. Approvers see a side-by-side view of exactly what changed and can Approve, Request Revision, Deny, or Make Inactive. Once approved, all held transactions release automatically—no manual follow-up—and every action logs to the vendor audit trail.

Four access tiers for vendor data

Vendor access controls have expanded from three broad levels to four granular tiers, so people see only what their role requires. Company Admins and Controllers get full banking and TIN visibility; Production Accountants see TINs and the last four of banking; coordinators and managers see transactions only; and crew get read-only access with no sensitive data. Most accounts need no setup—the tiers apply automatically.

Onboarding & payroll: Less repetition, more clarity

This month's onboarding and payroll updates are about reducing the small friction points that add up over time, giving your team cleaner timecard data and more consistent communication with workers from the start.

New day types for non-union timecards

Non-union workers can now record HOA, Unworked Holiday, and PTO directly on their timecards, replacing the Other Wages workaround that left day-specific pay disconnected from the daily record. Each day type calculates correctly with no manual coding, and union timecards are unaffected.

Default worker invite message

You can now create a reusable invite message that appears automatically when inviting workers to a project, so onboarding instructions and reminders stay consistent without rewriting the same note each time. Of course, you can still personalize it whenever you need to.

Plus, a redesigned navigation is now available to preview: company and project pages live in one unified sidebar, with clearer role switching between Company Admin, Worker, and Agent.
