Our March update looks a little different. Instead of highlighting something already live, we’re giving you a preview of a major release that’s just around the corner: a completely reimagined timecard experience.
Designed around how production payroll actually works, this upcoming release introduces a clearer layout, more flexible workflows, and fewer workarounds—so your team can focus less on administrative tasks and more on moving things forward. It’s all part of our mission to untangle your production workflows and help you run your production proactively.
If you’ve ever had to hunt for holiday hours, click through multiple modals to adjust breakage, or restart a batch just to fix one detail—this update is for you.
Here’s what’s coming soon.
Production payroll is nuanced. Rates change. Roles shift mid-week. Allowances get added after the fact. The previous experience didn’t always reflect that reality as seamlessly as it could. The new experience does.
With a familiar, grid-based layout and an all-in-one page for editing, reviewing, and batching, timecards will work the way your team already thinks.
What’s coming:
That means less back-and-forth, fewer workarounds, and more clarity.
We’ve consolidated in/out times, wages, breakage, account codes, and allowances into a single structured layout. No more jumping between tabs, no more hidden modals, and no more digging to find paid holidays or non-work days.
With inline editing across all fields, you’ll be able to adjust wages, breakage, allowances, and coding directly in the grid—making reviews faster and approvals smoother.

Not every payroll runs the same way. Soon, your workflow won’t have to either.
You’ll be able to:

Production payroll often requires more than one timecard per worker in the same week—especially when dealing with:
With this release, workers will be able to submit multiple timecards for the same week ending. Wrapbook will automatically handle cumulative calculations behind the scenes, ensuring overtime and any agreement-based rules are applied correctly across all entries.

This redesign lays the foundation for even more production-specific functionality, including:

We’re planning a phased rollout beginning mid-March, with projects transitioning shortly after based on size, complexity, and configuration.
We’ll share detailed timing, in-product guidance, and helpful resources to ensure your team is fully prepared for the change. If you have questions about how or when this update will apply to your specific projects, reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more tailored guidance.
At Wrapbook, every update is designed to reduce friction and help production teams operate with more clarity and control.
This upcoming timecard release is a structural upgrade built around the real workflows of production payroll. We’re excited to bring you a faster, more intuitive way to manage timecards from start to finish.
Stay tuned for launch details—and as always, our Support Team and Help Center are here if you have questions along the way.
